CMDC (Custom Metal Design Cuffs)
Of all the toys & gear I own, this designer of cuffs & other bondage gear must be the one I respect and adore the most. A unique design for every cuff you can wish for and a complete different style than any you have seen before. With his own hidden locking mechanism he makes all these products look slick & smooth. Let me introduce to you: CMDC (Custom Metal Design Cuffs)
Who is CMDC?
CMDC is a designer & producer of fine high quality metal bondage gear. For over 20 years CMDC has worked as a metalworker and finds his passion in CNC machining. At an early age he became interested in the BDSM world. But he ran in some problems. After a few years in the scene he pretty much now what was on the market and he could't exactly find what he was looking for. He head some ideas, but after a long find he couldn't find what he was looking for. So he started to make his own designs & cuffs. And that's how it began. He created a fetlife account and since then the requests for cuffs & bondage gear made to measure became only higher and higher.

Most of the products CMDC procudes are made of either aluminum or stainless steel. For the cuffs & collar he mostly uses stainless steel for durability. And for every thing that is bigger, like the complete restraints systems, he uses aluminum as material. Otherwise it would become very expensive and it would almost be impossible to wear beause of the tremendous wheight.
CMDC also wants his products to be affordable. That is also one of the reason's to sometimes use aluminum over stainless steel. He therefore only counts the time he loses on producing the item you order from him and not the time it takes to draw his designs (or your custom designs). This way he wants to make it affordable for everyone. Which is in my opinion, a pretty nice mindset!
My experience with CMDC
Collar
I came accros CMDC on fetlife by accident. But god am I happy that I did.
At the time me and my girlfriend were looking for a nice new collar for her to wear daily.
I have a girlfriend who is collared 24/7 and we were using one of the Eternity Collars at that time.
So I saw the collar on CMDC's profile and we started talking and after a few words spoken I ordered the collar from him. It was a few days. I do not remember exactly how long it took. But it was for sure within the same month after i got the collar send in the mail.
I did not really know what to expect and how the quality was etc.
But I was suprised in a very positve way. I unboxed the package, and it was very well packed.
The moment I felt the weight of the collar I knew it was going to be a nice piece.
And it surely was a nice piece! It was just like how it looked in the pictures, no more, no less. And I really liked that.
My girlfriend still wears the collar every day and has no problems doing so. No irritation or bruising. It sits nice around her neck and she loves it.
I do not have a picture right now since she always wears that collar but it is the same collar as the picture on the top of this blog.
1st Pair of anklecuffs
After a few months of wearing the collar I was confident my girlfriend could wear more restraints on her body than onyl a collar. So we went back to CMDC again and we ordered a nice pair of anklecuffs (SEE PICTURE BELOW). She also continuously wears these beauties. And we have took these of to take the oppurtunity to make a picture of them. You can see them below. They are 16mm in height and don't really weigh that much. She barely know's she is wearing them.

2th Pair of anklecuffs
This pair of anklecuffs I ordered for myself. I was a little bit jealous of my girlfriend for wearing such beautifull anklecuffs that I also wanted a pair for myself.
So once again I spoke to CMDC to order another pair of anklecuffs.
But the twist here was, I wanted something more rigid and thougher than the standard sized cuffs. I asked CMDC if it was possible to order these cuffs also in a 30MM higher variant. And that was no problem at all. It took a little bit longer because he had to redesign to original design. But it was still affordable.
So another package came in and again I was very satisfied with the products I recieved. Everything was as smooth & elegant as I expected. I was happy that I made the desicion to order these cuffs a little higher, That way they looked a little bit more manly and cooler to me.
In daily live
I do not have my cuffs locked permantly on my body. I just wear them 24/7.
I just took them of to make these pictures and quickly put them back on.
I can pretty much do everything with them.
I can exercise, work, sleep, live, sport, swim with them. They do not restrict anything in my movement or what so ever. So why take them of when they look good and fit nice right?!

How does it lock & unlock?
CMDC has its very own way of locking & unlocking the jewelry.
It is very nice hidden away on the underside of the cuffs. So you can barely see where and how it is locked. As you can see on the pictures below there is a small hole at the underside of the cuff/collar.
In that hole is a little allen screw and that screws in to the other part of the cuff or collar. This might not seem secure. But the way the screw is placed and secured makes this impossible to break open without destroying anything inside.

The Ring
Also a nice feature is the unlocking ring on the cuffs. With CMDC's cuffs & collars you do not have to take it off to put a ring around it. You can open the little metal holder for the ring and slide it around the cuff or collar and screw it nice and tight in place. This way your sub has never to take anything of her /his body if not neccsary.

My opinion
You still want to know what I think about it?
Well you can guess that I am pretty satisfied with everything that I lay my hands on that is produced by CMDC. It feels so right. Material and finishes are really of high quality. Everything just looks and feels so right about these products. If I ever need custom cuffs or collars or anything I can not just buy in a store I will for sure go back to CMDC and message him about the possibilies. I do no think he sells NO.
I would love to review some more products of CMDC.
I really do love his ''40 degrees of submission 6th grade'' restraint.
Never have I seen such a device before and I can not imagine what it must be like to be locked in it.
Just seeing those pictures of that device drives my mind crazy.
I would love to spend some afternoons. nights and mornings in that device. I have so much ideas with that particular item.
Maybe you will read in the future something about it here on my blog.

Would I reccomend CMDC to you?
YES I do.
He is very talented. Anything is possible if he can draw it and the machines can produce it. Any ideas are welcome.
For now I am still very satisfied about everything I have recieved from CMDC. I wear my items with pride and joy. So does my girlfriend. We both love it.
And maybe one day we can get our hands on the 40 Degrees of Submission grade 6. 😍
